The concern is not whether Yusuf Buhari has the right to run — every citizen does. The concern is whether Nigeria is drifting toward a political culture where power circulates within a small elite circle, shutting out fresh ideas and genuine representation. After years of economic hardship, insecurity, and governance challenges, Nigerians deserve leaders chosen for their ability, not their surname.
