What happened
A severe rainstorm hit the Maraba–Nyanya axis of Abuja.

Parts of the terminal’s roofing were torn off, and debris scattered across the highway.

The damage caused major traffic gridlock and stranded commuters.

The terminal was built under the supervision of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
