The story goes back to a serious health problem inside of his family, his daughter Sonia has been dealing with kidney disease for years, eventually her condition reached the point where she needs transplant. Dialysis can keep somebody alive but is not always a permanent solution. Sonia later explained that her illness was genetic so immediate family members cannot be used as donors so the search had to move outside her immediate family.
