What the program actually offers
Maximum subsidy €4,000
Granted when a resident trades in a polluting car and buys:

an e‑bike,

a cargo bike,

or an electric bicycle trailer.

Full €4,000 is reserved for low‑income households in low‑emission urban zones.

Who Gets Less?
Higher‑income residents can still apply, but receive smaller grants.

Not ready to give pp the car?
France also offers a €300–€400 grant for buying a bike or e‑bike without scrapping a car. Nigerian government adopt this style
