Satoshi listed April 5, 1975 as date of birth on his P2P Foundation profile.
Many believe he chose this date deliberately: April 5, 1933 was when the US banned private gold ownership, and 1975 was the year the ban was lifted — a nod to financial freedom and resistance to central control.
