No credible reporting suggests that President Tinubu, the Nigerian military, or the police are “afraid” of boko haram.
What the evidence does show is that boko haram and ISWAP remain dangerous, capable of ambushes, suicide attacks, and targeted strikes — which exposes operational vulnerabilities, not fear.
