The woman who lost her only son in the Angwan Rukuba Palm Sunday attack laid him to rest today.
During his lying-in-state, she did something that would shake anyone who understands culture, spirituality, and the weight of karma.
In deep pain, she spoke to his lifeless body… begging him to avenge his own death. Then, she placed a brand new cutlass inside his coffin.
Omo… that moment was heavy.
It speaks of a mother’s grief, her strength, and a pain that words can hardly carry.
