Last night! sang about you,
my voice trembling like a candle flame.
Every word was a whisper of your beauty,
every breath, a prayer in your name.

The stars listened in quiet wonder,
the moon leaned closer to know,
how one heart could hold such a song,
how love could endlessly flow.

Last night I sang about you—
and my soul was the music of us.
