If you're a man or woman of principle there're certain positions in govt that are not worth your trouble.
The intense pressure you will be subjected to by vested interests within and outside the govt will make you cave in. And goes your sanity, family, friends, and long held values.
You can't, and won't be allowed to, embarrass govt through resignation.
By the time you eventually leave you will have plenty of money but completely drained of your cherished life values.
Not worth it.
