How past Nigeria–Chad security collaborations have worked
Nigeria and Chad have a long, complicated, but often productive security relationship. Historically, cooperation has taken several forms:

Joint Military Operations
Both countries have worked together through the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), which includes Niger, Cameroon, and Benin.

Chad has repeatedly deployed troops into Nigerian territory (especially Borno state) during major offensives against Boko Haram.
