Makinde Orders Immediate Coronation of Ibadan High Chiefs.

Seyi Makinde has directed the coronation of Sarafadeen Alli and two other Ibadan high chiefs to preserve tradition and avoid political speculation.

The ceremony, approved through the Oyo State Ministry of Local Government, will be held tomorrow April 3 at Mapo Hall.

While framed as a cultural necessity, observers believe the move could impact future political ambitions, particularly ahead of the 2027 elections.
