“FG Enforces ‘No Certification, No Entry’ Rule on Imported Vehicles”

The Federal Government has begun full enforcement of a policy requiring all imported vehicles—new and used (“tokunbo”)—to obtain pre-shipment certification under the VehCAP scheme.

Minister John Enoh said non-compliant vehicles will be denied entry, seized, or sanctioned, with enforcement by the Nigeria Customs Service, CBN, and FRSC.
