DR Congo🇨🇩 edged past Jamaica🇯🇲 by the narrowest of margins, sealing their place at the #FIFAWorldCup for the first time in 52 years.

The Leopards roared in extra time, beating Jamaica 1-0 with a heroic 100th minute winner goal from Axel Tuanzebe.

DR Congo has been drawn in #WorldCup2026 Group K with Portugal, Colombia and Uzbekistan.

That means there will be ten African countries at the #WC2026, a record level of participation for the continent 🌍🏆
