So why does violence persist despite prayer?
Prayer is cultural, but violence is structural.
People pray because they are seeking protection, hope, and stability. But prayer alone cannot fix:

Weak policing

Corruption

Poverty

Extremist ideology

Poor governance

Ethnic tensions

Arms trafficking

Unemployment

Land disputes

These require policy, security reform, justice, and economic development, not just spirituality.
