Politics is becoming performance

Too much of Nigerian politics looks like theatre.
Speeches, rallies, slogans, alliances, insults, declarations.

Plenty drama, little design.

Citizens are kept emotionally occupied while structural questions remain untouched.

Politics becomes content.
Governance becomes background.

A country can spend all its time watching the performance of power and still receive none of the benefits of power being properly used.
