Peace is becoming a luxury product

Things will never get cheap when even peace enters the market. In this country, calm has become something people buy.

Gated estates, private security, quiet neighbourhoods, resorts, curated rest. But peace should not be a luxury item.

A functioning society should make calm ordinary.

If people must first become wealthy before they can sleep well, think clearly, or breathe freely, then the nation is already failing in one of its most basic duties.
