As the 2027 polls draws closer, the main attention as for governorship ticket will be on Fubara because of his current situation. Fubara is in a 50-50 situation as regards getting the APC ticket for re-election. For me, Wike holds the key as regards his continuity in office. Only President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may make an intervention that could give Fubara a second term, of which I am not sure it will happen.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and see what happens in the next 2 to 3 months.
