First ABS-Related Ejection in #MLB History: #Twins manager Derek Shelton.

Balls and strikes are now reviewable in #baseball and that has added plenty of emotions to the first days of the 2026 season.

Under the ABS guidelines, players must initiate a challenge almost instantly after the umpire’s call. The unofficial benchmark has been about two seconds. #Orioles' Ryan Helsley’s requested it quickly, but Shelton clearly saw it differently.
