2028 and 2029 sound far away when the need for better connectivity and stronger security is urgent. But there are some very real, practical reasons why satellite projects take years rather than months.
So is 2028–2029 “too far”?
It feels far, but for a national satellite program, this timeline is actually normal.
Many countries take 5–10 years between satellite generations.
The good news is:
Planning is already underway
Funding has been committed
The timeline is realistic, not political
