9.2 Million Households Receive Cash Support, N688bn Disbursed – FG
No fewer than 9.2 million Nigerians have benefited from the Federal Government’s Household Prosperity and Empowerment Cash Transfer Programme, with approximately ₦688bn disbursed within two years.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr Bernard Doro, disclosed this on Monday at the HOPE-CT implementation update and press conference in Abuja.

Henry Emeka: Cash support is good, but do we have honest data on how many Nigerians truly received it? Nigerians need transparency. Please stop insecurity, end boko haram now, support every citizen, and invest heavily in farming so families can stand on their own.
