As they left, Chris instinctively reached out to brush a stray hair from her face. She stepped back instantly, her eyes flashing a warning.Pious girls, Chris thought as he watched her walk away. Usually, boring. Usually a headache. He remembered Toyin, his last "religious" girlfriend, whose every sentence began with a scripture.But as he watched Ene, he knew this was different. She wasn't hiding behind her faith.
