“Watch where you’re pushing!” a voice snapped.

Chris observed, recognizing the familiar voice, It was her. The irony wasn't lost on him - now he was the one doing the shoving.

“I’m incredibly sorry,” he said, catching up to her as they spilled out into the night air. “I seem to be in your way tonight.”

She raised a perfectly arched eyebrow. “You were the one who nearly sent me flying just now.”
“And you pushed me before the play started,” he countered with a grin.
