Has he stopped boko haram from killing Nigerians?
No state governor in the north-east has the power to stop boko haram entirely, because insurgency is a federal military issue.

However:

Bauchi is not a boko haram hotspot like Borno or Yobe.

The state uses a community integration model for displaced persons instead of IDP camps.

Despite this, security threats remain, as shown by the statewide school closures. Nigerian children must go to school this should be fixed respectfully
