The honest answer there is no evidence that the investigation is a lie.
There is also no evidence that Sanwo-Olu has been proven guilty of wrongdoing.

Right now, the situation is simply:

An investigation is ongoing, and Lagos-linked contractors appear in the financial trail. That’s all that is confirmed.

Everything else—guilt, innocence, political motives—remains unproven.
