Why Nigerians are suspicious many Nigerians feel distrustful of institutions because:

EFCC investigations sometimes appear selective or politically motivated.

Corruption cases in Nigeria often lack transparency.

High-profile cases rarely lead to convictions.

This distrust is real, but it doesn’t automatically mean this specific case is fake.
