Scams tend to follow predictable formulas. Once you know the patterns, they’re surprisingly easy to recognize.

Common Red Flags
Using a famous person’s name (Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Oprah) to create false credibility

Promises of guaranteed money, “financial empowerment,” or “life‑changing returns”

No effort required, “no payment needed,” “just message me”

Urgency or pressure (“limited spots,” “act now”)

Private messaging to avoid public scrutiny
