Recent reports show:

Massive reconstruction of Aba township roads.

Roads that were abandoned for 10–20 years are being rebuilt.

A “zero potholes” policy in major urban areas.

Ongoing work on port harcourt road, cemetery road, and others.

Conclusion:
Abia still has bad roads in rural areas, but urban road conditions are improving faster than in Ajibode/Laniba.
