The bigger truth
Black Americans and Africans are not natural enemies.
They’re branches of the same tree that were broken apart by force.

The anger, confusion, and tension come from:

trauma

distance

silence

and centuries of separation

But the potential for unity is enormous — culturally, politically, and emotionally.l rest my case
