So they react like:

“Why is Africa asking for reparations when we’re the ones who lived through the consequences?”

“We’re still fighting for reparations here in the U.S. — don’t redirect the conversation.”

It’s not anger at Ghana specifically — it’s anger at the idea that their own struggle is being overshadowed. Ghana leader fighting for better Africa his not perfect at least his not sharing garri/rice/oil his advocating for a successful Africa but we must elect leaders who love Africa
