The last census in 2006 put Nigeria's population at 140 million.
This year, 20 years after we're about 235 million.
Nigeria's power output in 2006 hovered around 3000 MW.
This year,20 years after our average output is still struggling to maintain the 3000 MW.
So for a population growth of almost 100 million the growth in the power sector is NIL over a period of 20 years.
Meanwhile the sector has made several politicians and civil servants billionaires within the same period. 😱
