Silvia Galva, 32, filmed a fight with her boyfriend, 49-year-old Adam Crespo on the night he murdered her in 2019.
Galva, her friend, and Crespo had been out at a bar before they returned back to Galva and Crespo's home together.
The friend called 911 after Crespo yelled at her from the bedroom to do so.
Crespo claimed his girlfriend had accidentally impaled herself on their bedpost, which was a metal spear.
But he was found guilty of second-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
