The Court of Arbitration for Sport #CAS confirmed receipt of an appeal from the Senegalese Football Federation challenging the outcome of the #AFCON 2025 final, which stripped them of their title and gave it to Morocco🇲🇦 for infringing article 82 of its regulations.

🇸🇳Senegal's Prime Minister claimed the ruling "contradicts" the principles of sporting ethics. They now have 20 days to file their legal arguments. CAF then will have a further 20 days to submit their statement of defense.
