The “I pass my neighbour” mentality is very real in the Nigerian workplace. While you’re raising concerns about poor pay or lack of growth, friends and family quickly remind you that you’re still better off than countless others who wish they had your job. If you buy into that mindset for too long, you risk staying stuck and settling for less than you deserve.
