Somewhere in the foggy mists of time, Harald Bluetooth, a Danish king, united Denmark.

Nearly 30 years ago, the technology that allowed (united?) digital devices to talk to each other was given his surname.

His runic initials H. and B. remain today the symbol for "Bluetooth."
