🎞️ "The King's Warden" officially becomes the highest-grossing movie in South Korean history.

The movie tells the tragic story of the 6th king of Joseon, Danjong (1441 - 1457).

The young king (interpreted by Park Ji-Hoon) is dethroned and exiled to a small village in a mountain valley with his court lady (played by Jeon Mi-Do). He meets the villagers there, including the village chief Heung-Do (Yu Hae-Jin). The chief and the village residents then look after him.
