Ghana Praises Nigeria Over Trafficking Rescue.

The Government of Ghana has commended Nigeria and the Department of State Services for rescuing 44 Ghanaian nationals from a trafficking network in Akwa Ibom State. The victims were found in Uyo and Ikot Ekpene and safely returned to Accra.

Authorities described the operation as a successful example of cross-border cooperation against human trafficking and fraudulent recruitment schemes.
