"In 2017 in Uyo, I went to collect boots from Kelechi Iheanacho. His roommate at the time, who was a big player, chased me away. Kelechi came out, saw what happened, and immediately frowned. He stopped him, held my hand, and said I should come inside with him.

At that moment, I felt seen. I felt respected. That gesture stayed with me."
