In 2014 Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero was the undisputed choice of the Kano emirate kingmakers to succeed his late father. However then Gov Kwankwaso, pressured by APC installed SLS as emir to humiliate then PGEJ.
Fast forward to 2020. Gov Ganduje of same APC dethroned SLS and enthroned Ado Bayero as emir.
From May 2024 till date both of them have been emirs of the same Kano emirate under the NNPP and now APC.
When will Kano people rescue and insulate their revered emirate from toxic politics?
