True accountability, however, is not meant to restrict you but to protect you. Just like guardrails on a road don’t stop you from driving but keep you from crashing, accountability provides direction and safety. It brings correction when you are going off track, encouragement when you feel weak, and wisdom when you are confused. It helps you stay aligned with your values and purpose.
