What Nigeria needs to defeat boko haram long-term
A strategy beyond “chasing them in the bush”
Military force is necessary but not sufficient. Nigeria has already killed or neutralized a large share of the original boko haram core, yet violence continues in new forms and splinter groups.

Long-term, Nigeria needs:

Clear political strategy:
What does “victory” mean? Is it zero attacks, or enough stability for normal life and farming to resume? That must be defined and communicated.
