Abuse is not always physical. Sometimes it comes through harsh words, neglect, manipulation, or abandonment. These wounds may not be visible, but they can deeply crush a person’s spirit and sense of worth.

What makes abuse even harder is that it often comes from people we love and trust—family, friends, or mentors. Because of that trust, many people struggle to recognize it or accept that it is happening.
