The celebration of Mother's Day varies according to location. Some countries celebrate theirs in the month of May and June, but in Nigeria, Mother's Day is on the third Sunday in the month of March. The 2026 edition was commemorated yesterday March 15. It is always a day, set aside, to honour the gift, love and sacrifices of mothers and mother figures.
