Cleric Alleges APC Plan to Spend ₦500bn to Mobilise Northern Leaders for 2027.

Kaduna-based cleric Sunusi Khalil claims the All Progressives Congress planned to spend ₦500 billion to mobilise Islamic scholars and traditional rulers across northern Nigeria ahead of the 2027 elections. Khalil said he rejected an invitation to join the alleged initiative.

The party has not responded to the claim, and no official budget evidence currently confirms the alleged allocation.
