It is illogical to view Tinubu and Buhari as a single unit simply because they belong to the same party. During Buhari’s administration, Tinubu was largely sidelined in favor of Buhari’s northern allies. Tinubu also won the presidency without Buhari’s endorsement, which is an important distinction that is often overlooked.
The members of Tinubu’s government are not the same as those of Buhari’s administration; therefore, they should not be judged as if they are one and the same.
