When Niger delta militants were active, they never claimed Christianity as their religion and never said they were fighting for Christianity. They clearly told Nigerians they were fighting for oil.
When Boko Haram came, they never said they were fighting for resources. They clearly told Nigerians and the world that they were fighting for Islamic caliphate. That's the difference. One fought for resources, and the other is fighting for religion. It's stupidity to try to lump them together as one.
