What Lagos needs to reduce poverty sustainably
If we’re being honest, handouts and occasional projects won’t cut it. Lagos would need deep, structural moves like:

Massive, genuinely affordable housing
Scale: Not a few estates—tens of thousands of units yearly, targeted at low‑income earners.

Finance: Long‑term, low‑interest mortgages or rent‑to‑own schemes, not just cash‑and‑carry sales.
