SUBMISSION IS NOT SUBJECTION:

I once heard a pastor use submission and subjection interchangeably—no wonder he had marriage struggles, I thought.

Submission is a willing act of respect, humility and cooperation, leaving room for dignity and voice.

Subjection is imposed control, often stripping freedom and voice.
One builds trust, the other breeds fear and imbalance.
