The Balance of Power
True peace in the world will come when every nation is allowed to have nuclear power. As long as a few countries possess nuclear weapons while others are denied the same capability, the world will live with imbalance and suspicion. Equal power can create mutual deterrence, where no nation easily threatens another and caution replaces dominance.
