Some are asking why methylated spirit or hydrogen should not be used on fresh wound.
See reason;

When there is a wound or injury, cells are exposed to the external. Using methylated spirit or hydrogen is risky as it can kill living cells and delay healing. You can use methylated spirit on body surface but not on injury.
