Senate Confirms Taiwo Oyedele as Finance Minister of State.

Nigeria’s Senate has confirmed Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance, replacing Doris Uzoka-Anite. During his screening, Oyedele pledged to advance fiscal reforms, strengthen budgeting discipline, and improve public trust in government spending.

The former PricewaterhouseCoopers tax policy leader emphasised realistic budgeting, tax system modernization, and support for local manufacturing to boost Nigeria’s economic growth.
